Experienced recruits Steve Fouracre (co-coach), Troy Price (assitant coach) and Steve Bradshaw will look to make an instant impact.
Co-coach Gerard Midson admitted Corryong will be the team to beat again, but is confident his side is better placed than 12 months ago.
“Steve and Troy look after themselves pretty well, so our fitness base will be a lot better than it was last year,” Midson said.
“A lot of our pre-season involved a fair bit of running.
“It’s probably something we lacked a little bit last year, but both Fouracre and Bradshaw are bigger bodies.
“The advantage they (Corryong) have over most the sides is their experience in the midfield and also their talls that they can play forward.”
Grand finalists Bullioh hit the road to face Border Walwa, while Cudgewa hosts Tumbarumba.
