Riverina’s unemployment rates at three-year high, says ABS

The data, released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, shows a steady increase in unemployment across the past two years.
Men are almost twice as likely to be out of work than women, with 6.4 per cent unemployment, up from 2.7 per cent in July, 2016.
However, women’s unemployment rates have dropped significantly in the past year, down to 3.6 per cent down from 5.7 per cent in April, 2017.
