Alex Race-Stelling and Digby Race both competed in the event, with Alex placing third in juniors with a 33:48, while Digby won the non-championship race in a time of 36:56.
It was the second consecutive year Race-Stelling finished third, coming in behind NSW juniors Eligh Morris and Will Atkinson on the 5.6-kilometre junior track.
Former World Championship bronze medallist Ben Duffus revelled in the steep 10-kilometre open course, featuring a 1000m climb up Mt Wellington, to win the Australian senior men's mountain running championship.
Former world stair racing champion and current world number two Mark Bourne (ACT) was second, while NSW trail runner Leo Peterson made the podium.
Melbourne’s Simone Brick outlasted Tasmanian junior Meriem Daoui to win the senior women's championship in 1:14.00.
