The blaze started at a house on Mitchell Avenue about 3am on Friday.
The flames caused minor damage to an awning and a room.
About eight firefighters in two fire trucks attended the scene and extinguished the fire.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
There were occupants inside the property at the time, but no-one was injured.
