It will be the first time the reigning Bulldog best and fairest has come up against Zac Fulford’s side since his controversial departure at the end of last season.
"Probably not, obviously they're not going to go easy on me though," Hodgkin said.
"I think 'Fully' (Fulford) is a pretty sensible sort of bloke and I think they'll be just wanting to play the ball pretty hard and, if it does come my way, I'll be prepared for it and I'll just keep playing the ball."
Hodgkin has made a solid start to his career at Wodonga Raiders under coach Daryn Cresswell and insists there are no regrets about the move from Wodonga.
"No regrets from me, obviously it was always going to be hard to go from one to the other," he said.
"I think I've moved on and Wodonga has moved on."
Despite some angst at the end of last season, Hodgkin says he hasn't been brushed by any former team-mates.
"No, I haven't,” Hodgkin said.
“I've got a couple of good friends at the club.
"I haven't really spoken to anyone else, but I'd still say g'day to all those guys if I saw them around."
Wodonga Raiders will carry a 2-1 win-loss record into the clash and will start short-priced favourites to claim another scalp.

The club has been battling to remain within the maximum player points level of 38.
"Obviously us and North Albury are probably having a little bit of a points issue where we can't play our best side at certain stages," Hodgkin said.
"The players are quite aware of that and ‘Crezza's' made it pretty clear that you need to perform to keep your spot and, in saying that, morale's been quite high."
The match starts at 3.15pm while North Albury take on Albury from 2.15pm.
