Unmarked cops nab high number of phone users
POLICE are appalled by the results of a plain clothes operation which caught 16 drivers on phones in two-and-a-half hours.

Wangaratta Highway Patrol members ran the operation in the town’s CBD on Tuesday.
Acting Sergeant Patrick Murray said five drivers were also caught without seatbelts.
“We’re appalled at the results – in this day and age people should know better,” he said.
“The danger is they will cause a collision due to their inattention.”
