The left-footer was unstoppable with seven goals and 31 possessions as the ladder leader charged to an 18.10 (118) to 7.10 (52) victory in front of a 2000-strong crowd.
O’Hara has been in sensational form during the opening four rounds with the former Central District player on track to match his stellar debut year at the Tigers in 2014.
“I’m just really enjoying my footy at the moment,” O’Hara said.
“I’ve got a kid now and I get away from footy a bit more during the week.
“Come Saturday I can’t wait to get out here.
“I never thought I’d be one of the older guys but when you see ‘Kingy’ (Rhys King) and the 18-year-olds coming through it brings a lot of energy into the side.”
O’Hara and teammate Daniel Cross were instrumental in Albury breaking North Albury’s back with five goals to nil in the opening quarter.
Cross, who ran about 15 kilometres as Melbourne’s runner against Richmond on Tuesday night, racked up 28 possessions in another high quality performance.
O’Hara said last year’s grand finalists prided themselves on performing on Anzac Day.
“It’s the best day to play footy apart from the grand final,” he said.
“I’ve been lucky enough to play in a lot at Adelaide and here and it means a lot to me.
“The boys’ efforts today were fantastic.”
O’Hara kicked four of his seven goals in the final quarter including one booming major on the run from outside 50 metres.
Tiger co-coach Chris Hyde praised O’Hara’s workrate.
“He works really hard,” Hyde said.
“’Brado’ played up forward and through the midfield and he just keeps running.
“I thought we were pretty solid across the board today.”
