The middle Neagle has enjoyed a hot start to the season since taking on extra minutes in the midfield, and the Raiders coach believes he has the potential to go far beyond the Ovens and Murray.
“He was fantastic today, he’s really standing up in our side as a young player,” he said.
“He has ambitions to go to the next level and so he should.
“His transition from being a normal half-back flanker to play through the middle has been really good.
“He could get on a list – same as Sam Murray. It’s in his hands now, he’s got to keep performing at that level.”
Neagle was among the Raiders best in their 99-point victory over Wodonga, alongside Jydon Neagle, Lachie Flagg, Shane Munro and Zach Rouse.
