Cross has said he wouldn’t play as many games this year, given his increasing commitments as rehab coordinator with AFL outfit Melbourne.
However, with the Demons facing Carlton on Sunday, May 20, it’s opened the door for Cross given the O and M hosts Western Region at Yarrawonga’s JC Lowe Oval the previous day.
The O and M is ranked fifth in the AFL Victoria Community Championships.
