Lavington favourite son Matt Pendergast has suffered a badly broken leg in the game against North Albury.

The game was called off at the 19-minute mark of the first quarter due to the injury.

The umpires asked the teams if they wanted to continue.

Lavington said it would, but North elected not to, so the game was drawn.
