CHILTERN produced a brilliant final quarter to salvage a 34-all draw against Rutherglen in their A-grade clash at Rutherglen on Saturday.

Trailing by six at the final change, the Swans motored home with Molly and Tammy Phibbs pivotal in the 11-5 final term.

Emily Browne and Kailey Athanitis stood out for Rutherglen.

The draw leaves the teams in sixth and seventh spots on the ladder after six rounds.

Barnawartha consolidated its spot in the top-three by defeating Thurgoona 36-20.

Sarah Cardwell and Jessica Braut were fine contributors for the Tigers while Meagan Tschirpig kept the home team in the game for a long time.

Kristen Andrews also stood up under pressure.

Wahgunyah defeated Wodonga Saints 57-23, Tallangatta brought down Mitta United 33-26, Kiewa-Sandy Creek beat Beechworth 68-28 and Yackandandah upstaged DMB 36-23.
