Podesta’s Projection Dance Company will run three workshops at The Cube Wodonga for dancers aged from 10 and older on the day and then from 7.30pm the company will perform Forte, featuring three new works curated to fulfil an insatiable curiosity about movement and its expressive potential.
Forte also sees London's star contemporary dancers James Pett and Travis S Clausen-Knight, from Company Wayne McGregor, perform their collaboration Proximity and also includes a new work by Australian choreographer Simon Hoy.
As well as premiering their new co-choreographed duet, Clausen-Knight and Pett will perform with guest principal artist of the Royal Ballet Mara Galeazzi and Chilean dance star, Sebastian Vinet.
The program includes exquisite design and music that pushes the dancers to their physical and emotional boundaries.

The dancers arrived on the Border this week to begin rehearsing at the Regional Academy of Performing Arts, which Podesta established in Wodonga in 2005.
While here they will contribute to projects such as the workshops as well as sessions with school students and dance schools.
Students will have the opportunity to observe and work with these world-renowned artists in preparation for the performance at The Cube.
These visiting artists provide huge exposure to the international dance community for Border dance students, bringing great insight into the career pathways of these unique artists working at the highest level of dance.
As part of the Forte program students from Projection Dance School’s junior artists program will perform a routine choreographed by Podesta.
