Harry, 21, and Lachie, 18, were picked by coach Brodie Holland after producing some strong form for ladder leader Altona in the opening rounds of the season.
Harry, who has been named as an emergency for Richmond’s VFL side in recent weeks, said he was excited to be playing at J.C. Lowe Oval.
It’s probably the most enjoyable year of footy I’ve had in a long time
- Harry Tanner
“It will be awesome,” Harry said.
“A lot of guys like to have a week off, but Lachie and I were keen to get back and play against some of the Albury boys in front of family and friends.
”I’m loving my footy. It’s probably the most enjoyable year I’ve had in a long time.”
The former Murray Bushranger played a senior match for Albury in 2015 before he was cut down by injury the following season.
He moved to Melbourne last year.
Lachie played for Albury’s reserves and UWS Giants in the NEAFL last year.
The speedster lined-up for Altona in the opening two rounds this season before returning to the Giants.
Altona forward and former Wodonga Raiders player Patty Rose has been ruled out of playing against the Ovens and Murray.
Western Region will finalise their side at training on Thursday night.
“It will be pretty strong,” Harry said.
“I still don’t know a lot of names, but the standard of footy has been pretty elite.”
The Ovens and Murray will announce their team after training at Yarrawonga.
