The Country Fire Authority has invited community members to join Cr Speedie, with an information session to follow the 10am tour.
Being built by Southern Cross Developers, the station will have five motor bays and 10 bedrooms to accommodate the growing workforce.
It replaces the Smythe Street station that is more than 40 years old.
