AINSLIE Campbell is in the prime of her life. A talented veterinarian and one of Henty’s ‘favourite daughters.’

Yet she has been struck by the energy-robbing condition known as chronic fatigue syndrome. It is a diagnosis that has taken the wind out of her sails and stalled what many people consider to be rite of passage in life. Family friend Lorri Roden of Henty said the community were working hard to raise awareness, and funds in regards to chronic fatigue.

After a few community events, one recent one which raised more than $9000, Mrs Roden said Henty residents were certainly well educated about the condition.

On Friday, May, 25, in another show of ongoing community support,  Professor Sonya Marshall-Gradisnik will speak at the Henty Community Hall and the event starts at 6pm.
