Three generations: Bart Hanrahan, Gerard Unthank, Brian Unthank, Susan Hanrahan, Michael Unthank and Tom Hanrahan are the core of this successful business.

For more than 50 years Brian Unthank has been synonymous with all facets of both the real estate and stock and station industry in the region.

Established in 1966, this privately owned family business has expanded and progressed over the years to be a powerful force in the marketing of real estate and livestock in the Albury Wodonga district.

The original family stock and station business continues to operate in the marketing of livestock with brothers Gerard and Michael Unthank maintaining service to a large clientele situated right throughout the influence area. BUR Rural remains the longest private agency ever to support the Wodonga saleyard facilities.

Brian Unthank Real Estate operates independently of the stock and station agency and has three generations of family currently marketing and selling rural, rural lifestyle and residential property.

Brian Unthank Real Estate changed its name to BUR in 2012 and currently operates offices in Albury, Wodonga and Rutherglen. Brian Unthank and Susan Hanrahan together with Tom, 31, and Bart, 29, provide a strong team of specialists in marketing of Real Estate in the local area.

Over time this family business has been fortunate enough to have been supported by a strong network of staff and friends. This support has allowed the company to become the strong third generation business as it stands today.
