On Thursday, Ambulance Victoria released data on locations where a paramedic’s physical safety issues might be at risk.
Nine homes in the North East were identified as possible threats to Ambulance Victoria staff, consisting of three residences in Wodonga, three in Wangaratta, two in West Wodonga and one in Beechworth.
Unlike the Mount Beauty address, police are not required to attend these premises, but Ambulance Victoria has identified them as residences where patients or individuals are, or might be, a threat to paramedics.
Only Shepparton, with five homes, and Hampton Park, with four, ranked higher than Wangaratta and Wodonga.
These threats can be anything from an aggressive dog at the property, known weapons on the premises, to verbal threats or actual assaults on the paramedics.
Wodonga and West Wodonga appeared separately in the data.
