UPDATE: 1 dead, 2 critical after inhaling toxic fumes
One worker has died and two others are in a critical condition after inhaling toxic gas at the Norske Skog plant at Ettamogah on Thursday.

A spokeswoman for Albury Wodonga Health said a further 12 workers had sustained injuries in the incident, but were expected to be released from hospital Thursday night.

The two workers earlier reported to be injured remain in a critical condition.
Fire and Rescue NSW were on the scene and reported 150 people had been evacuated.
It said the operation was ongoing.
