Note Printing Australia workers plan to stage a 24-hour work stoppage from Friday as they call for a two per cent pay rise offer be doubled and for 20 days' domestic violence leave.
But the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union says the company is demanding concessions, including that employees accept lesser penalty rates in exchange for a better pay deal.
"All they want to do is inflame the situation with ambit claims," organiser Mick Bull told AAP on Thursday.
Note Printing Australia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Reserve Bank.
The printer refused to comment when contacted by AAP.
