Liam Stanger, 37, was taken into custody in Cooma on Wednesday following the incident at the Guardian pharmacy on High Street on Saturday night.
It’s alleged a range of medication was stolen from the chemist by a man with his face covered by a hoodie.
The 37-year-old was extradited to Wodonga and was remanded in custody on Friday.
He will return to court on August 21.
