Five people, including a primary school aged boy, have been transported to hospital after a multi-car crash near Milawa.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics responded to reports of seven people injured in the crash, with at least five requiring hospitalisation.
She said a primary schooled aged boy was transported to hospital with a minor head injury.
Two other people were taken to hospital with neck injuries, one with facial injuries and one person was transported to hospital with no obvious injuries.
The spokeswoman said all patients were taken to a hospital in nearby Wangaratta.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics were called to reports of a multi-car crash at the intersection of Snow Road and Milawa-Bobinawarrah Road, Milawa.
She said paramedics were assessing seven patients after being called to the incident at 6.30pm.
