Albury and District’s best primed for Zone 8 pennant playoffs

Albury and District’s four champion pennant sides will take on the best of Zone 8 this weekend.

North Albury’s grade three outfit heads to Temora Bowling and Recreation Club to face Wagga RSL on Sunday morning.

If the Hoppers are successful in the semi-final, they take on the winner of Tumut and Leeton District in the decider.

Holbrook represents the region in grade four and meets Narrandera at Howlong on Saturday.

Victory will see them play Harden District in the semis on Sunday, while Temora Ex-Services face Junee.

Lavington travels to Wagga Rules Club to contest the grade five zone title.

The Panthers take on Batlow on Saturday for a chance to face Boorowa in the semi-final on Sunday.

Griffith meets Lake Cargelligo in the other quarter-final, with Wagga RSL awaiting the victor.

Holbrook will meet the winner of Gundagai and Cootamundra Country Club in Sunday’s grade six semi-finals at Cootamundra.
