Cattle Producers Australia will host an industry forum on Monday, June 25 for grass-fed cattle producers in Albury to discuss “urgent industry matters”.
CPA’s Implementation Committee has invited Australian Competition and Consumer Commission Deputy Chair Mick Keogh to present the updated report of the ACCC’s cattle and beef market study and its recommendations.
Industry have had twelve months to implement some measures of reform based on the 15 recommendations from the original study handed down in 2017.
CPA Implementation Committee Chair Paul Wright encouraged farmers to attend.
“Our forum will be a great chance for local producers to meet, share their concerns, learn more and discuss options,” he said.
