The first was at the Colley Street Park, near Wagga Road, while the second was at another park at the corner of Kentucky Avenue and Balston Street.
Both fires were within half a kilometre of the other.
After firefighters were called to a car fire in the Colley Street Park last week, station manager Dean Campbell said he was frustrated at the continuing vandalism.
“We’ve had a spate of car fires of late,” he said.
“It’s frustrating for us, but it’s also frustrating for the people who have just lost their transport.
“These fires have the potential to be quite dangerous, not only due to the fire but also toxic gases that can come off them.”
