The Morris Medal contender took the penalty following an incident in the opening quarter of last weekend’s clash at Lavington Sportsground.
Curtis has been a consistent performer for Lavington in the first-half of the season and will sit out the Panthers’ clash with Wodonga on Saturday.
Bulldog Jackson Heagney-Steart will front the Ovens and Murray tribunal on Wednesday night after being booked by field umpire Daniel Lewis for striking Wangaratta Rovers’ Connor Crimmins.
Wodonga third grade player Billy Haynes will also contest a charge of striking Hawk Cade Gorman.
Meanwhile, Wangaratta Rovers assistant-coach Lachie Raven has retired.
Raven told the Hawks last week he would not play football again due to a concussion.
