Moore, who made her A-grade debut for Lavington in 2000 and will play her 200th club match for the Tigers on Saturday, said Cary stood out from a star-studded list.
“There have been a lot of good ones,” Moore, 41, said.
“Early days I lined up on Paula and she always stands out because she was such a strong, formidable opponent.
“I’ve got a lot of respect for her.
“Others have come and gone, but Kate Yensch and Sarah Meredith came along and have been the new breed of defender.
“Lou Clarke was another really good one for Albury.”
The former Wodonga Wolves and Lady Bandits basketballer joined Albury in 2010 after spending seven years away from netball.
“A great friend of mine Caroline McCowan asked me to come along to Albury to train one night and I didn’t think I would even get through the night,” she said.
“Eight years later and I’m still there.
“It was the best decision I’ve ever made.
“I love the team environment.”
Despite being hit hard by knee injuries, Moore has been a strong performer for Albury in A and B grade ranks.
She won the Tigers’ B grade best and fairest last season and the Ovens and Murray’s Hot Shot award.
