With Nathan Grimes playing only his second match of the season, the Demons looked a far more polished side as they put the home team to the sword.
Grimes kicked five majors with goalsneak Jarrod Williams dangerous at his feet with two.
Peter Jeffries, Steele Lloyd, Daniel McInnes and Tom Nicholas also stood up as Corryong put its stamp on the match in the opening quarter.
The Demons led by 20 points at quarter-time at 45 at the main break to put the clash out of Cudgewa’s reach.
Mitch Pynappels and Ethan Low were in everything for the Blues, but lacked the support to test the reigning premier.
The win was a confidence-booster for Evan Nicholas’ side with the teams set to lock horns in the first semi-final.
“It was the first time we’ve probably had close to our full side for the season,” Nicholas said.
“It certainly helps.
“Cudgewa had a few out but it was a good win.”
Key forward Adrian Rijnbeek played his first match of the season and looked dangerous alongside Grimes, Williams, Danny Demarte and Mitch Harris.
Lloyd also showed promise in his debut.
“Things are starting to come together for us,” Nicholas said.
“We’re getting some belief back at the right time of the season.”
Federal crushed Border-Walwa by 154 points.
The Swans had options everywhere in attack with Mitch Paton, Daniel Hales and Tim Seymour kicking 16 majors between them.
Ruckman Steve Bradshaw dictated play around the ground while Andrew Saliba and Dylan Haycraft were also prominent.
The young Magpies were goalless at half-time but kicked four in the second-half with Ashley Greenhill, Benji Davidson and Lowan O'Connor bold in defeat.
Flag favourite Bullioh hammered Tumbarumba by 215 points.
The Bulldogs had 15 goalkickers with coach Hamish Clark hitting the scoreboard hardest with six majors in another outstanding display.
Kelvin Wallace, Taylor Fenton and Josh Walters did as they pleased further afield.
Tumbarmba’s Cameron Johnston played well.
