The builder focused on floor plan flexibility and a design that helps keep internal temperatures comfortably stable, a goal that relies on deep verandahs and efficient ventilation.

J&J Carroll Pty Ltd’s pair of Albury townhouses include private balconies with views over adjacent sporting fields, and a focus on open-plan living and an appreciation of outdoor liveability.

We also appreciated the nod to sustainability in the form of low-maintenance landscaping. For their achievement, we awarded J&J Carroll ‘Best Multi-unit Development up to three units’.

As we all know, many projects succeed for what they astutely omit, like superfluous walls and other spatial clutter. Connelly Construction Services won the award for ‘Excellence in Commercial Buildings $1 million- $3 million’ for their delivery of an addition to Wodonga’s Victory Lutheran College.
