Koschitzke was the only Murray Bushranger selected after playing superbly at full-back for the Allies during the national championships.
“It was a bit of a surprise,” the 198-centimetre youngster said.
“There are a lot of really good players in the side so it was great to make it.
“I just tried to do a job in the backline.”
The Albury High School student’s selection was particularly impressive after he was forced to manage foot problems in the first-half of the TAC Cup season.
Number one draft contender Sam Walsh, who won the Larke Medal as well as Victoria Country's MVP award, was named captain with South Australian Luke Valente picked as vice-captain.
Bushranger Ben Paton made last year’s All Australian side and was later picked up by St Kilda.
