Defending premiers Wodonga sit two points clear of Falcons after beating United 3-2 in a rescheduled match on June 7, while Magpies are three points further back.
The sides played out a 2-2 draw in the second week of the season, before Falcons prevailed 4-2 in the next meeting.
Norths and Wombats-Beechworth meet in the weekend’s other game.
Meanwhile, in division one men, ladder leaders Magpies must topple third-placed Falcons to stay in control of the league.
Last year’s premiers Norths remain within striking distance two points adrift and will be expected to beat Wombats.
Wodonga could take advantage of other results and find itself back in the top-four by the end of the round if it defeats United.
