BO: You’re playing goal attack for Brock-Burrum Saints, tell us about your season so far.

TE: We’ve had a lot girls away, as well as injuries and pregnancies, so we’ve had to round ourselves together and work hard to where we are. We’ve had an up and down first half of the season, so we hope to push forward in the second half and see if we can make the finals.

BO: You guys are sitting fifth at the moment and play the top-five in the second half of the season, what’s the preparation for that?

TE: We’ve all been really positive, getting around each other and having good hit-outs at training, which has been really good. There has been a good atmosphere around the club.

BO: Your other shooters are superstars Lauren Coelli and Emily Seiter, how much advice and tips do you have to give those girls?

TE: They give me the advice. Loz isn’t playing anymore because she’s pregnant, so Mollie Smith from Thurgoona is our shooter now and she’s been really good. Mollie has been a great asset for the club this year.

BO: They tell me the boys have got a nickname for you, ‘the X-factor’, what’s the story behind that?

TE: Sam O’Connor is our seconds coach and I don’t know where he’s got that from. He’s our number one mascot for the netball and comes over and watches every single game. He came up with X-factor and it stuck and everyone has got around that one.

BO: You were named in the Brock-Burrum Team of the Decade and also the youngest player as well, how does that feel?

TE: That was a couple years ago and it was a great honour, it was a bit of a surprise. It was pretty awesome to get named in that along with some great netballers.

BO: You’ve got Jindera this weekend which is fourth against fifth, have you got any secret tips you want to let out before the game?

TE: We always size up to each other really well. I think the key this weekend will be the tight defence and just making smart decisions. We’re always keeping an eye out for Sharna (Holland) their GK.

BO: The girls tell me you like to have a drink and let your hair down, what’s your drink of choice?

TE: Anything really (laughs). I love a good cider after the game and a few shots on a Saturday night.
