A $10,000 grant awarded to Brave Hearts on the Murray will go on to help residents struggling financially during cancer treatments. Wodonga’s Commonwealth Bank branch manager Christopher Whitton said the work Brave Hearts do has a wide reaching and inspiring impact. He said Wodonga branch employees unanimously nominated the organisation for a Centenary Grant, in recognition of the much-needed service Brave Hearts provides to the community. “It’s important to us that we support local organisations like Brave Hearts on the Murray. It’s incredible to see how they support the wider community,” Mr Whitton said. “It was so exciting to have the opportunity to nominate a local organisation that’s meaningful for us.”
