The eradication program on the foreshore has finished and the water level is expected to return to normal by early August.
Murray Darling Basin Authority river management head Andrew Reynolds said the dry site had been popular with visitors.
“Stream flows from the Kiewa and Ovens rivers are being used to help refill the lake, along with water releases from Hume Dam,” he said.
