United prevailed 4-0 in Canberra back in round four, but the Border side will fancy their chances this time around.
The Spitfires women are in a very similar position, two wins behind the fifth-placed United with a game in hand.
Men’s action begins at 2pm Saturday and 11am Sunday, while the women take on United at 3.30pm on Saturday.
In division one men’s hockey, Magpies will look to retain top spot against United, second-placed Norths take on third-placed Falcons, while Wodonga can move into the top-four with victory against Wombats.
Wodonga can keep the pressure on leaders Falcons in the women’s competition with a win against Wombats-Beechworth, Falcons meet Norths, while United searches for its second win against Magpies.
