“It’s a real danger game for us, we were really lucky, we probably should have lost that first game,” he said.
“Obviously (co-coach) Chris (Schmidt) isn’t playing and Isaac (Muller) is out and Shaun (Mannagh) is unavailable as well.”
North edged out Wodonga in a one-point thriller in round five with Lachie Taylor-Nugent kicking a point after the siren.
The Hoppers must keep winning to retain their slim hopes of playing finals.
With five rounds left, North sits in sixth spot, a win behind Lavington and a percentage of 64.
The pair meets in the next round.
Wodonga is eighth with three wins.
If the Bulldogs are to cause an upset, they simply have to find more goals.
They kicked just two against Yarrawonga and four against Wodonga Raiders.
