Kuschert reached the milestone for league appearances last month with his four representative games included.
“He’s been outstanding for us and he’s still playing a really high level of footy too,” coach Marc Almond said.
“He should be really proud of it and we’re proud of it as a footy club.”
The only remaining member of the Roos’ last flag in 2003, Kuschert said he always wanted to play the highest level.
“It says a lot about how he wants to be remembered, he could quite easily have gone bush a long time ago,” Almond said.
The 34-year-old defender is the fifth Roo to reach the milestone behind Dennis Sandral (333 and 15 at Wangaratta), Darrell Spencer (333), Paul Bartlett (303) and Brendan Eyers (301).
Meanwhile, rugged Albury tagger Will Blomeley will play his 50th game.
