LANDOWNERS and river users are urged to be aware of increased inflows into the Mitta River next weekend.
Releases into the river are set to increase next Saturday and Sunday in a bid to improve water quality and the function of the river.
The Murray Darling Basin Authority is planning the releases, but says they may vary.
Flows of up to 3000 megalitres per day are expected.
Landowners are urged to regularly check the current flows and forecasts on the authority's website.
