The visitors trailed Temora 10-0 after only nine minutes, but showed tremendous composure on the road to rack up a 40-10 thumping.
“That’s something I haven’t questioned all year is the character,” coach Adrian Purtell said.
“Our defence has been really good and that’s attitude.”
The Thunder has just the four wins after a series of close losses.
Liam Wiscombe was sensational, producing a series of barnstorming runs.
“The kid’s on fire lately,” Purtell said.
Five-eighth Robbie Byatt also maintained his consistent form.
Winger Keanu Wighton posted 20 points from two tries and six goals.
The win guarantees the Thunder can’t claim the wooden spoon as it’s now two wins ahead of Young.
The eighth-placed Thunder could jump above Wagga Kangaroos next Sunday.
