Roo coach Chlorissa Johnston rated the victory as her side’s best of the season.
“We probably weren’t expected to win but all the girls played really well,” Johnston said.
“Everyone did their bit.”
Eighteen-year-old duo Lainie Dixon and Jessica Nourse led the way for Yackandandah while Alyshia Drummond shot 30 goals.
Kiewa-Sandy Creek defeated Chiltern 57-27 with star shooter Haylee Penny scoring 43 goals.
Barnawartha edged out DMB 44-39 with Zoe Pitts playing well, Tallangatta scored a comfortable 52-18 win over Beechworth, Thurgoona brought down Mitta United 52-39 and Rutherglen accounted for Wodonga Saints 57-23.
