After making 364 runs and taking 20 wickets for Belvoir in 2016-17, the all-rounder will play a vital role in the club’s attempt to climb the ladder.
Coach Luke Styles said the 21-year-old would be a huge addition at Bilson Park.
“He’ll be a gun,” Styles said.
“Aaron’s in the Ireland A squad and has been playing some terrific cricket lately.
“He’s an accredited coach and being involved with an international team will be really beneficial to us.
“It’s fantastic news.”
Gillespie, who plays for North West Warriors, will be joined at Albury by fellow recruits Zac Stuart (North Albury), Harry Weaven (Lavington) and Dylan Pumpa (Culcairn).
Albury will start training on August 12 with its season launch to be held at Brady’s Hotel on August 26.
