A celebration of fringes, skinny jeans and teenage angst, a crowdsourced set of classics from the likes of My Chemical Romance, The Used, Paramore and the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are set to take the audience back to a different time.
“Every time I listen to those songs now, it takes me back to when I first heard it,” Mr Casey said.
“As silly as it is, you'd imagine yourself singing them to a big crowd.
“Those songs take you back to a really specific time, that music is really essential to those teenage years.
“Emo music was a home for anyone who wanted it, it gave a lot of people a voice.”
Though he was tight-lipped about the full set list, Mr Casey said he and the band had planned a somewhat theatrical finale.
It'll all go down at the SS&A Club in Albury on Saturday from 9pm.
Sounds like it'll be a day to remember.
