Founded in 1968, the Falcons Hockey Club began in earnest with Ron and Carol Young.
They began with a mentoring junior players and competed in the men's division one competition, later joined by a women's team in 1975.
That women's team won the club's first premiership, in 1981, and have added six more to date.
In total, Falcons have won 15 division one flags – and president Billy Anderson is hoping to add a few more to the trophy cabinet by the time the next anniversary comes around.
“We are thrilled with the response from past players to join current members in celebrating our clubs fantastic and long history,” he said.
“We’re all looking forward to catching up with past players and hearing a few stories that have probably been embellished a little over the years.”
The club will also unveil a team of the century and new life members.
