“Unfortunately we are confronted with another notable season; we are all challenged by the lack of rain throughout our autumn and winter months .
“This dry is extremely widespread – we seem to be faced with the unknown at present, but we are still remaining hopeful of receiving some decent spring rains.”
“Whilst feed is increasingly in shorter supply, luckily, we were fortunate to come into the season with record feed reserves, we have also broken the amount of feed fed out record for us.
“And our calves have been weaned earlier than usual to help cows pick up condition.”
Jarobee will offer some 40 HBR bulls this time round, with all having passed rigorous structural and fertility tests by Dr Shane Thomson of Holbrook Vet Clinic, as well as being scanned and assessed by Jim Green from Greens livestock Services.
Included in the line up of sale bulls will be sons of Pathfinder Genesis SMPG357, Granite Ridge Kaiser SJKK26, Bruns Blaster USA 179915Z8 and 44Envision USA 17448751, to name a few.
Jarobee have recently added a Texas Angus Bull to their line up of stud sires .
“This sale we are offering some sons of Granite Ridge Kaiser. Kaiser progeny is displaying outstanding growth and are standout from time of birth,” said Jan.
“Sires and dams are selected within the guidelines Jarobee adhere to for their breeding programs – targeting genetics to offer to offer clients a range of cattle that consistently return profitable outcomes in their chosen markets.
“Every care is taken to ensure all important traits are not compensated in any way.”
The Jarobee Angus annual Spring Bull Sale will be held on Friday September 14 at Jarobee Bull Selling Complex at Beechworth.
