Lavington Sportsground had hosted 23 successive O and M grand finals, but the redevelopment meant the Panthers were unable to host next month's decider. The upgrade is also set to force the club to find an alternative for home games next year, but the club is hoping it will still be able to use the venue.

Lavington is holding out hope it won’t have to find a new home for next year.
