Bill Hardman is being remembered as a friendly, hard-working family man with a ready smile and a passion for rugby league.
The father of three sons died in a two-car crash on the Olympic Way at Table Top.
Family and friends have taken to social media to paid tribute to the 44-year-old and offer condolences to his family.
Mr Hardman was an amazing dad and a hard worker, according to posts, which also paid tribute to his kindness.
He began working for the Australian Military Bank earlier this year.
Australian Military Bank’s Bernadette Gates said she and her colleagues were still in shock, but were trying to support each other and Mr Hardman’s family.
“Bill had only been with the bank for a short time, but he was a fabulous person,” Ms Gates said.
“He was a hard worker with close links to his community.
“Anyone who knew him knew he was a football fan.”
Mr Hardman had long-standing ties to the Wagga Magpies. He was among the crowd celebrating the Magpies’ 50th anniversary reunion in 2014.
Having attended what was Trinity Senior High School in Wagga, Mr Hardman worked in banking.
Before joining the Australian Military Bank, he worked for Suncorp Bank.
