Gayle Francis Atkinson, 30, now faces sentence on September 27 over her latest charges after pleading guilty to shoplifting and goods in custody.
Magistrate Rodney Brender ordered the preparation of a pre-sentence report when Atkinson recently appeared in the dock of Albury Local Court.
“The thing is she’s already had jail for two months for this type of offending,” Mr Brender said.
This was for matters that took place between August and October of 2016, while the warrant for Atkinson’s arrest was issued on April 30.
The court was told that Atkinson went into Strandbags in Lavington on August 8 at 10.15am. She and a co-accused then removed a bag each, valued at $500.
Police later saw Atkinson near a bus stop in Griffith Road about 4.30pm.
She had the stolen bag and a pair of Nike socks with a Myer security tag.
The court heard how Atkinson had also stolen a $61 bottle of bourbon whisky from a Lavington liquor store on April 15, hiding it in a carry bag before leaving.
She then returned to the store and took a second bottle of spirits.
