Albury’s Music in the Garden returns tomorrow when La Busca takes music lovers on an early 20th century tango. The all-female tango ensemble backs Argentinean singer and tango dancer, Juan Veron. Music in the Gardens is a series of free outdoor concerts staged at the Albury Botanic Gardens during spring and autumn. Bring a picnic rug and cushions and settle in.

Laughing matter

Nazeem Hussain’s new show – No Pain No Hussain Tour – is on the Border tonight. The comedian’s come a long way since his first solo stand up tour in 2015. Last year Nazeem’s live show Public Frenemy earned him a second Helpmann Award nomination for Best Comedy. His TV appearances SBS’s Legally Brown, The Project (Ten), The Feed (SBS), ABC News Breakfast and Q&A (ABC).
Hay Market
September 16, Yarrawonga Showgrounds, 8am-noon
Tomorrow’s Yarrawonga Rotary Market is worth getting along to. All proceeds, as well as any donations, will go towards sending a load of hay to the Rotary Club of Guyra, for distribution to farmers in northern NSW. There’ll be about 100 stalls with clothes galore, collectables, toys, tools, books, homewares and more.

September 16, Junction Square Wodonga, 9am-1pm
With up to 50 stalls, tomorrow’s Made By Me Market in Wodonga specialises in handmade, upcycled and unique products from beauty products and jewellery to bibs and cloth nappies, artwork and hair accessories to clothing and bags. You’ll be sure to find something. As well as the great range of hand-made offerings there’ll be food, sweet treats, coffee, music and face painting.
Seeing red
September 15, The Cube Wodonga, 11am, $20
With Red Racing Hood, Terrapin Puppet Theatre re-imagines a famous fairytale. Featuring wonderful performances, a high-energy soundtrack and internationally acclaimed puppetry, Red Racing Hood is at Wodonga today. There’ll be a question and answer session afterwards but bookings are essential.
