An exhibition highlighting 60 extraordinary Stanley women from the 19th century has received a Victorian Museum Award.
Hearts of Gold – Minds of Mettle earned the Stanley Athenaeum the Archival Survival Award at the presentation held in Melbourne Museum on Wednesday.
The Robert O’Hara Burke Museum collections manager Linda Peacock won an Award for Excellence for her work involving people and communities.

Indigo mayor Jenny O’Connor congratulated both of the shire’s award winners.
