Yarawonga’s Ely Smith and Wodonga’s Hudson Garoni are in the running for the boys award.
Smith kicked six goals and averaged 23 disposals per game in his 15 appearances this season, while Garoni managed 13 matches and kicked an equal competition-high 35 goals.
Rebecca Webster and Murray Bushrangers’ girls best and fairest Tamara Smith are also in contention for top honours.
Both Smith and Webster played in the AFL Women’s under-18 Championships for Victoria Country and featured for Melbourne University in the VFLW.
