After being starved of finals action for many years, the Demons wore down their opponents through the efforts of goalkeeper Holly Murphy, goal attack Ruby Bouffler and goal defence Michelle Hewitt.
“It was very, very tight all day,” coach Jose Webb said.
“It kept us on edge.
“The girls did really well to win because it went right down to the last minute of the match.”
Sixth-placed Murray Magpies caused a huge upset on Saturday, defeating Jindera 52-43 in the first elimination final.
It was the side’s first win since June 30.
Shooter Tara Lieschke played a blinder for the Magpies after being promoted to be named best on court.
In this weekend’s matches, Billabong Crows take on Rand-Walbundrie-Walla and Lockhart play Murray Magpies.
